User: Shawheer Khan,
TrollingHey guys,
Figured I’d share something I messed up on, in case it helps someone else avoid doing the same.
When I first joined Bitcointalk, I wasn’t too sure what kind of posts were expected, so I thought using an AI tool to help me word things better would be a smart move. It wasn’t like I was copying stuff I was just using it to make my posts sound cleaner.
Turns out, that wasn’t a good idea. A couple of my posts got flagged for being AI-generated, and honestly, I get it now. They didn’t sound like me at all just too polished and robotic. Looking back, they probably came off as fake or soulless, even though that wasn’t my intention.
I’ve realized that people here value real, honest opinions not perfect sentences. So yeah, lesson learned the hard way.
From now on, I’m just going to write the way I actually talk and think, even if it’s a bit rough around the edges. At least it’ll be me and that’s way more important.
If you’re new here like I am: don’t overthink it or try to sound too “professional.” Just be real, share your thoughts, and you’ll get better with time. The forum is full of smart people who appreciate honesty more than anything else.
Appreciate the folks who called me out and seriously It helped more than you probably realize.

Salaam everyone,
I’ve been watching some popular AI-based crypto projects like $FET (Fetch.ai), $AGIX (SingularityNET), and $OCEAN (Ocean Protocol). These have been gaining a lot of attention, especially after AI went mainstream globally in 2024.
The idea of combining blockchain with AI sounds promising with things like:
• Decentralized machine learning
• AI marketplaces (for models, data, or services)
• Permissionless access to AI APIs
• Autonomous agents operating on-chain
But I still have a few open questions in my mind:
1. Are these projects truly using advanced AI, or just riding the hype with vague technical terms?
2. How can we, as regular investors or users, verify if there’s real development or utility behind the token?
3. Are there any working products solving real-world problems — not just whitepapers or testnets?
I know that Ocean Protocol has built a marketplace for data sharing, and SingularityNET claims to offer an AI service marketplace using their AGIX token. Fetch.ai is working on autonomous economic agents, but I’m not sure how much of it is being used actively.
We’ve all seen trends come and go — metaverse tokens, DeFi waves, NFTs, meme coins. Some projects created lasting value, most didn’t. So now I'm wondering: is this AI + Crypto trend a real future opportunity, or just another narrative play?
Would love to hear from anyone who’s studied these projects or participated in.

Thank you so much for the kind welcome! Really appreciate it.
I’ve been checking out the Beginners & Help section like you suggested and there’s a ton of useful stuff in there. It's nice to see how active and supportive the community is.
I was wondering what do you think is the best way for a new member to build reputation here? Is it just about consistent posting, or are there other things I should focus on too?

Hello everyone,
I’m new here on Bitcointalk and really excited to be part of this community. I recently started exploring Bitcoin, testnets, and airdrops. I'm still a beginner but loving the learning process!
I’m from Pakistan and usually do testnets on mobile.I'm looking forward to learning and maybe even helping others someday.
If you have any beginner tips or threads to follow, I’d appreciate them.
Thanks
