In the competition of Vitality Blast Men and in North Group, Durham squad was begun match first with batting inning and batters managed to collect huge scores 182 after playing 20 overs. Will Rhodes was top scorer of this match and he played wonderful inning with collecting 51 scores after playing 36 deliveries. Graham Clark also displayed strong performance and he managed to collect 43 scores after playing 22 deliveries. Birmingham Bears squad was too close to defeat Durham squad and they missed victory by 8 scores. Also thanks to James Neesham, Matthew Potts and Zakary Foulkes, each bowlers picked up 2 important wickets.
In Vitality Blast Men, Middlesex played first and opened the innings with a great partnership of 69 runs. Middlesex opener Eskinazi showed a tremendous performance with 94 runs unfortunately he couldn't complete his century but made his team a stronger target. It was just the top order who played well while rest of the team struggled especially the middle order destroyed the game quality. Hampshire one of the bowler Scott Currie eliminated 4 players and with the complettion of overs Middlesex score 187 runs. Hampshire opened with a 43 runs partnership losing wickets at short intervals but every player played its role in chasing the target. The middle order players leaded the chase very close to the target and after 7 wickets Hampshire won the game by 3 wickets.
That match was interesting between these two teams because target was brilliant in this match and we saw effort by both teams. Stephen Eskinazi was a person who played crutial role in the start of first inning but he was sad because he could not make century in this match and 6 runs were short from the century if that player but he hit only 3 sixes and fours were more in this match. James Fuller was finisher of this match because he made important runs when it was requirement of team and he hit 2 sixes and 3 fours.Many of the players of that team made runs in this match and that was the reason they won the match and bowlers could not bowl well in the last overs and match was hard for both teams.
