He publicly informed the club and Enzo Mascara that he was not returning to the club to sit on the bench after his fantastic season.  Enzo Mascara became furious and left him out of our CWC squad, so it was easy since Enzo Mascara did not rate him.

Sanchez and Jorgenssen were never on the market; perhaps if we had landed an AC goalie, the news would have been different.

We already have a back up for Saka and as I mentioned in another thread, I will not like for this signing to interfere with the progress of Nwaneiri. He is to be a huge part of the future of the club, he cannot do so if he has competition as a backup. That is way too much money spent, could have been invested in other options.

Rodrygo will bring much needed versatility and winning experience, this and his age makes him a better option than Rafael Leao for me, but he is not an out-and-out LWF.

I think Petrovic was the easiest one to sell amongst your goalkeepers, do you see any team have Sanchez on their target list, Petrovic had decent spell on loan last season, while Sanchez and Jorgenssen were a half good, half disaster for the club last season.
