Some people like to work in office because they can't focus when they're at home or not at working place. Some people like to work in their home or anywhere else because they're more focus doing alone without co-workers.

But, not many people can stay working at office and alone for long term because they will burnout.

With the combination of working at office and from home, this will make them to enjoy both.

Companies should have an option for their employee if they want to work on-site or on their home. While I agree that not all people prefer to work in an office and the otherwise, there are also other factors which some employees prefer to work from home.

One example for this is the traffic condition, here in our country the traffic is very worse during peak hours that your travel time of going to office and to your home is almost equivalent to working hours. Employees have no time for other things and their cycle of life is just to go to work then go home.

Work from home setup is very helpful in our country since you also save some money from travel expenses. Some even say they are more productive working at home since they can manage their time properly. If their work is flexible and can finish it early they don't have to pretend working like in the office. They get to do other stuff which gives them work and life balance.
