I agree- this is a common mistake that most gamblers experience especially during the height of their emotions. They tend to be consumed by their own greed which results to them mostly losing their winnings in the process.

That is why I always recommend to my friends that if they somehow win in gambling, it is mandatory that they keep the money they initially bet upon and use the other half if they wish to gamble again. In this way, at least, even if you lost the money you just won, you are back to ground-zero as if you didn't gamble at all.
