Anyway, Elon (AKA Elmo) wants to get just a few seat which in the current context would be enough to manage and contain the worst of Trumps policies. And while he cannot win the Presidency (not now anyway), he could perfectly be able to get a few key seats and achive some degre of leverage on Trumpy.

Just remember, Trump won against all odds listed by the media. And he won big. It's easily possible that Musk could gain a much greater following of people, who formerly were in favor of Trump, but are now disgruntled by Trump's seeming reversals in his promises.

Consider, Musk and Trump were buddies at the beginning of Trump's term. Then Musk's time was up, and he left. And that's the point where Trump started going bonkers in some of his operations.

Musk might not be able to become President, but he might support a totally different kind of person who just might make it over the current warmongers in Washington.
