Australia A beat Sri Lanka A by 7 wickets in their third match at Marrara Oval. Sri Lanka A batted first after winning toss and scored 213 runs which is not good target especially in one day international and due to this Australia A easily chased down and made 215 runs with 105 balls left. Jack Nisbet was key player for Australia A taking 2 wickets for just 26 runs. This win shows Australia A is in great form and Sri Lanka A will need to work much harder if they really wan to compete with bigger teams.
In the 3rd unofficial ODI match, Sri Lanka A collection was not enough. The team scored only 213 against Australia A. By this small score, there is no possibility of winning. In the 2nd match, Sri Lanka A won the match, there was a score of 294, although it was difficult to win that match against Australia A. But Sri Lanka A won that match because they were able to take wickets quickly. The main reason for the loss in the third match was that they did not get a good start. If the opening pair had done well, then their score can be high. If they could have scored 300, there would have been a chance of winning. But in the third match, Australia achieved the target score for the loss of just 3 wickets. So it was difficult for Sri Lanka A to get a win.
