Politics relates to many things and Bitcoin is not an exemption at all. Bitcoin us unique and has very little effects from politics so it is well in long term no matter what is done by Trump, Elon Musk or any other politicians and their policies on Bitcoin. In a broader sense Bitcoin is indeed the best currently for various reasons that can strengthen the argument. However, it would be much better if practical politics were not involved, because we can see that Bitcoin can run itself without any influence. Before Bitcoin's price was sufficiently high, many countries might have opposed it, but Bitcoin persisted on its own reaching the adoption it has today.
