It is not right to make such a stiff assumption about a team like Real Madrid. I cannot disagree with that Los Blancos now has one of the hefty squads in the world. Xabi Alonso new coach of Madrid has so far proven his potentiality. Now we are waiting to glimpse if Alonso could succeed with Madrid. Now if Los Vikingos players could adapt fast to Alonso's strategy, then their performance will ballast. I'm not something like emotional, I know Madrid's defense has kinda lacked till now, but you know they have several talented players on that defense line. The only thing Alonso should have to do is create a suitable match strategy so that Madrid's defense becomes stronger.
Of course, Real Madrid is one of the best in Europe, but their performances so far have been starkly different. Real Madrid failed to win a single trophy last season, and then they also failed to qualify for the Club World Cup. Xabi Alonso will carry a huge responsibility for Real Madrid's campaign next season. He has the ability and has proven his worth with Leverkusen, but the two clubs are at completely different levels.
Alonso must immediately overhaul his squad to achieve balance across all areas. Weak defense, a lack of creativity in midfield, and a lack of sharpness in attacking must be solved. Real Madrid has a good squad, but I can't find a reason behind their decline in form, which raises questions.
