I understand your frustration with Real Madrid tough season. And yes it is too soon to judge Xabi Alonso who is taking over team that clearly needs change. Ancelotti time seemed to be over and Alonso brings new ideas that could help Real Madrid improve. We can not expect miracles right away as Alonso needs time to get his system working and build team confidence but since he is club legend who knows Real Madrid well giving him patience and support is best way to help him bring back their winning ways.
The thing is, Xabi didn't really had much choice, they got Mbappe and Vini and those two doesn't work together, we have seen that much. They do have a decent team, all they need to figure out is those two, if they can, then they should be fine.
Plus, Xabi needs to change the strategy as much as possible too, he is playing way too midfield heavy, and when he does that, it's great for some of the players at midfield, because they get more work on them and can show themselves etc, but it is terrible for the team that played differently for years now. Either Xabi needs to change, and focus a bit more on wings and such, or team has to adjust to how Xabi wants them to play quicker for them to get better results in the league and UCL.
