Well, actually you don't use AI to predict the outcome of the game, you use it to gather the information you need so you can analyze it properly. The decision-making should still come from us. some people assume that just because AI is smart, they can rely on it completely. That kind of mindset is what leads to losses. We need to change that by learning from our mistakes. Just take a look at our losing records in gambling (assuming we even bother to track them) that alone should tell us something.

You would be surprised about how many people there are out there who do not care to do their own research and do not even care to check how reliable those sources they are getting from artificial intelligence are. There will be more users and wannabe bettors who will directly their favorite artificial intelligence which team would become the winner of a certain match or even what team would become the winner of an entire tournament.
In this technological era where information is all around and machines are turning more intelligent than users people are becoming even lazier as years pass, haven't you noticed it?

We are literally at a stage in which people are expecting a computer which thinks to tell them how to make money from the comfort of their homes, and if you ask me, that is quite a dangerous thing going on. It has been already proven there are negative effects in the brains of those who use Artificial intelligence in a very extensive way.

Perhaps you are the exception, but I could easily see most of AI users/bettors just asking their machine "who will win?" and put money on the table according to the response.
