What do you do to a trading strategy that already earns you a good percentage in profit. do you still try improving on it to ensure it does not fail? or do you let it be until it starts showing signs of failure?

Spotting that successful strategy can be really hard so when when you've heartedly worked it out, I don't think of it'd be advisable to deviate from it just because you want to find some other better strategies.
What oI think right to be done is it you've a duo trading account, you can troubleshoot and get the new development warning in case the existing strategy cuts you out of the line. Of course it's necessary to prepare ahead of time in the trading market. Locating good strategies requires lot of hard work, maybe time too. So waiting for the current strategy to fail you before you can dig in to find another can take you lot of time and then, you just have to opt out untill then. But I don't think you'll be missing out.
