It is possible to make payment even with just mobile number alone but that's UPI which you know that too, but no one can verify whether you picked UPI withdrawal or IMPS. But just say you entered wrong details where you are supposed to enter the 11 digit bank account while withdrawing via IMPS should actually becomes invalid due to wrong number format as you say and still it says successful then you can find the solution here.

So just be coperative and you will see the case resolved in a day or two and I remember another thread with the same withdrawal amount but it took just a couple of days and managed to get his INR back into his bank account.
