Yes you are right I checked and it is true he was fired from Al Nasr two weeks ago. And he has already signed a contract with Fiorentina until 2028 which means a three year deal. I think this is a very good contract for Pioli because he knows Serie A very well and especially he knows Fiorentina perfectly. So for them he is definitely a good choice. I really liked how Pioli worked with Milan when he won the league with them in 2022. So now we can expect another very good season from Fiorentina.

From his previous experience In the Italian league the new job won't be a very tough one but he'll still put in much effort to try take Fiorentina to the top 4. Seems like a difficult task but the top 5 or 6 is very possible. Anyways if Fiorentina can give him some good signings better prospects that would suit his agenda then Fiorentina would compete for the top 4 effortlessly.
