Amorim already spend a lot of money to buy mediocre players, if he didn't make it to Champions League, Manchester United might fire him.

Amorim should be build his own team that's why he buy the players he want and it's necessary and compare to Ten Hag i think Amorim didn't spend much money for this transfer window besides that i think Manchester United should give him more time liked 2 or 3 years to make Manchester United more better because to make it happen it will not instantly and i think it's time for Manchester United to more patient to Amorim because changing manager so often is not the best solution
