It was indeed shocking to see Chelsea beat PSG by such goal margin in the final. We underestimated Chelsea and they taught us a lesson.

Chelsea are not going to win the Premier League title, I can bet on it. Nevertheless I will give them their accolades for winning the FIFA Club World Cup and writing their name in the history books as the first to do it.

That's the biggest shock for PSG, because they felt that they have already won the trophy after they kicked out so many big clubs but not strong. Chelsea proved to the world that they are in form and currently as dangerous like PSG. Most of the Chelsea fans had the confidence that Chelsea can defeat PSG, but majority didn't bet on Chelsea to win.

This isn't surprising; anything can happen in a final, and Chelsea are indeed in excellent form, and their 3-goal win over PSG is a testament to that.
This proves that Chelsea are worthy contenders for the Premier League title next season.
Since Maresca became Chelsea manager, I've seen significant changes for the better in his first season, so there's a strong possibility that this will continue next season. I think Chelsea should be wary of next season in the race for the Premier League title.
