The idea of countries especially big ones like the US adding Bitcoin to their reserves is a strong signal, even if it is not official yet.
It's already because Trump have signed the executive order to establish Bitcoin Strategy reserve in the US. This was on the 7th of March this year. Trump only said that the US wouldn't diversify from their gold reserve in bitcoin or use the US funds to buy bitcoin. That only seized asset would be used as US bitcoin reserve. I know that you are new here and might not know this.
really understand what you said, especially about focusing on longterm plans and not trying to predict every move Bitcoin makes. The market is too volatile to guess right all the time, so building a habit of steady accumulation based on my discretionarys income feels like the best way forward. I am learning that it is not about how much I earn, but how much I can consistently set aside without affecting my needs. If I can grow that part and stay committed, then I know over time my portfolio will also grow, regardless of the market swings.
Don't forget to start building an emergency funds to back up your bitcoin investment when you have started your bitcoin investment with your disposable income to avoid premature selling when it's not of your will. It's good to have several back ups like the emergency funds and reserve funds.
You can divide your discretionary income into two parts, use one part for your regular weekly/monthly DCA, and use the other part to be building your emergency simultaneously with your bitcoin investment until it gets to three months of your income. After that you can channel the money into building your reserve funds.
