That’s true gambling will affect you base on how you approach it , some folk are gambling without having any issue with it like it affecting their lives negatively. Because of the way they approach it they are always disciplined whenever they are gambling. Most time are those that gamble for fun rather for the money .
In the other hand some folks has made gambling harmful to their health, due to irresponsible gambling habits all in the name of chasing after some massive wins and got addicted in the process because they where not discipline and stuff .
Gambling is good when you are winning, but when you start to lose money and selling everything you have, this means gambling already consuming a person, its hard to stop that when an individual is already attach to it, people say its easy since they don't experience another person experience, the best solution is not to do gambling focus on other things and don't chase big wins, its a win if you have that kind of mindset.
It all depends on themselves. I mean, if they could be responsible for their actions, they wouldn't have lost more money. Gambling can cause many problems when a gambler isn't prepared to accept defeat, leading them to gamble again in the hope of recouping their losses, but in reality, the hole only gets deeper.
On the other hand, I agree with your opinion that it's best not to gamble or to stop gambling. However, if someone can become a responsible gambler, meaning they have a proper understanding of what gambling is and how it works, then it's okay if they still want to participate. The key is responsibility and understanding the risks.
