Government cant afford to spend more money on what will alleviate the people to live a free life and be independent, instead they would rather summon additional pressure to ensure that they regulate a particular sector that is not yielding to their terms and conditions for its existence, the more they keep attacking on the gambling platforms, because they want to always receive form them and couldn't afford initiatives that could foster the youths on a terrain path to success in life.

There are more important things government have to do for the society instead of wasting money on programs. Who even say people should gamble in the first place? Gambling is a choice, just like drinking excessive alcohol is a choice, they can only legalize and control the consumption rate and as well tell people some policies so they don't abuse it and that's exactly what they are doing even in gambling, so why should government be responsible for what you decide to use life to do.

I am in support of government creating jobs for people, doing all sort of things to make people's life better and any ways to subsidies things so people don't go into hardship and start taking excessive risk but saying that government should come and do all things that aren't necessary is very unreasonable and waste of resources. It's better they use such funds for development and infrastructure that will be meaningful for everyone and not people that has decided to be gamblers.
I agree that government have a alot of roles to play in all of this, and regardless of which level or step they take at any point in time, we should know that definitely won't end well for the gambler most especially if it comes with an offensive approach such as an outright bann on gambling activities.

But still we need to know that government, can not do all for it citizens in terms of economic well-being of the citizens this is because, government lack the need resources in terms of man power to supervise such projects.
