They pump a little and then dump forever/ become abandoned projects because they’ve already fulfilled what they were meant to be used for. There was just few before but after the successful attempt of some of those few, hundreds were developed for same intensions over the years.

Perhaps, it could be those shitcoins that die off that is still developed as new coins with a different identity just so that they won't be recognized. I don't really know what some people see in shitcoins and the problem is that there a people who actually know that these shitcoins cannot survive the market for a long time but yet they will still reluctantly invest in them with the mentality that before it will dump, they have made some profits from it.
