but for sure this is much easier said than done after all
we end up being affected by what happens and not everyone has the skill to be super stoic in life and when dealing with problems, money and relationships

You know that we are to gamble for fun since that's the essence of gambling. This is why, if I win $50, it will make me happy and enjoy the fun to the highest, because it came as a surprise. Imagine when you are not expecting money your luck put you into profit. The feelings will be different because we are humans. However, that does not mean that you should start thinking of gambling for profit.
