I see Real Madrid improving under Xabi, their game is starting to use a system rather than relying solely on individual skill, and that's a good thing for Real Madrid heading into the new season.

Regarding the defeat to PSG, that doesn't mean we should immediately judge Xabi and compare him to Ancelotti, which would be unfair. It's only natural that Real Madrid lost to PSG. PSG already has a solid squad under Luis Enrique, while Xabi is still very new to Real Madrid. So, I see the vision Xabi brings, I'm confident Real Madrid will be stronger next season, especially in the Champions League.

True, we don’t need to start judging and start coming to conclusion about Xabi Alonso of Real Madrid. Over the period of time he has managed the team, he did excellently well to have brought them this far in the club World Cup but unfortunately fell out of the competition at the semifinals, no one will say that wasn’t a great performance by him. Real Madrid just needs to prepare for their next season encounter because it will really tell if they can do well in the champions league competition also. PSG was just too good but that doesn’t mean that strong bond can’t be broken if much effort is put more into their game when they meet.

Both teams will struggle in this match, but a tougher match awaits them in the next round. Even if they don't qualify, there's a chance they could be eliminated in the next round. This is because they face truly formidable opponents in the next round. Therefore, this match is incredibly important for these teams, especially considering their potential to qualify for the Champions League and potentially generate significant revenue from it. My prediction is that Rangers will advance.

I am not too familiar with both teams but base on their statistics, I feel Rangers will be the better team to advance to the next round of the qualification games even though it won’t be that easy for them to make it to the champions league next season to play in top tier with other top teams. This is the champions league and it only takes some grace sometimes that you’ll see smaller teams making it that far in this type of competitions.
