I highly doubt Chelsea can win the league. My team is not really consistent. We won the cwc, which is good, and defeating PSG shows we can compete against teams, but winning the league doesn't mean defeating the bigger boys rather getting the most points.
Enzo Maresca is now in his second season. Chelsea's game has changed he is more high pressing and has flexibility. Last season they were able to play gradually improved. And at the end of the season they finished at number 4. Next season's moment Maresca will probably go through a lot of matches and it was different in the first season.
But Maresca has also taken advantage of this transfer season by buying Liam Delap, João Pedro, Jamie Gittens, and Estevão. This leaves them with plenty of options for next season. Their competition is also getting more difficult Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal are also making good steps to take advantage of the moment of Transfer this season. IMO
Chelsea's impressive performance in the Club World Cup, winning this season, is certainly a different story if they were playing in the Premier League. The Premier League champions are the ones who earn the most points, and this forces Chelsea to consistently win. Without consistent wins, it will be difficult for them to win. However, I hope Enzo can overcome all of that for next season.
But, of course, Chelsea will be mentally strong in the Premier League next season.
