Maybe winning too much recently made them overconfident about their drafting, while Team Falcons woke up just at the right time. Or maybe they're cursed. I recall a post saying Team Liquid stood no chance of winning this tournament due to their insane form from the recent FISSURE Universe, and based on the previous EWC or Riyadh Master, the hottest teams heading into this tournament always fall short.
