Only if Real Madrid will give him the time, I also would say I’m not convinced with his team performance in the club World Cup. He needs to fix a lot of things, that defense in particular, high profile defenders needs to be there. I would say a good defensive midfielder too, if by the end of this coming season he doesn’t win anything they slot of eye brows will be raised and maybe his future in Real Madrid will be quetioned.
Going to the club world cup with a team he did not had so much time to relate with was really a quick switch, much should not be expected of him, he even tried with his attempt to fo that far even if we know Madrid is a bigger team ordinarily but they were yet to be done with Ancelotti's style to fit in to habits before the club world cup so that was a tournament of an attempt by the new coach, after now they will have all the time to get along with Xabi and hopefully in the new season they get to improve and do even better as seen with the signings and the technicalities Xabi is trying to put in place.
