Is this going to be the last time we'd hear Manchester United struggling to get this player since they have been forced to pay the required £70m? I hope they get this very player Mbeumo to join them. I think this £70m came out after Newcastle turned their attention to get Mbeumo, like the transfer market is getting hotter and hotter. Liverpool went on to get the striker Hugo Ekitike that Newcastle was suppose to get and they (Newcastle) saw that they couldn't make move for Hugo Ekitike that was why they turned to get Mbeumo and that pushed Manchester United woke up to splash in the £70m to get the player.
Manchester United were slowing down on the deal and now they see that other teams are beginning to build interest and they just have to speed up and agree with the terms because they may likely loose him, although he has mentioned how much he wants to move to Manchester United but for me I am not seeing this as a really good deal for Manchester United, it's too pricey for a player at his age who may soon get pass his prime soon but I want to believe they have plans.
That's the fear they were avoiding from happening and we know Manchester United as a team that has pride to keep, as time goes on that pride begins to die off even that past glory isn't helping them in any way if not Mbeumo would have done something to stop the delay since they started chasing him. For me I won't want to start talking about his age yet because he's still doing better than those on the same age bracket, the problem should be the club he is joining. I hope Manchester United don't make us see less of him and to make his performance to drop so fast before playing for the club in his second season, that won't be good for the player honestly.
