LOL.. your prediction was right. They got themselves to 120/7, with Tinotenda Maposa and Tony Munyonga scoring some valuable runs towards the end. But this is far from a defendable total, and like I have said many times in the past this series doesn't make any sense. Zimbabwe should play among other tier-2 test nations and associate teams, and not against strong teams such as New Zealand and South Africa. Matt Henry picked up 3 wickets for the Kiwis, while Wessly Madhevere top-scored for Zimbabwe with 36.

The only good thing Zimbabwe did in today's game is that they played their full 20 overs. They played full 20 overs but were not able to put enough runs on the board to challenge the opponents. In first game of this tri-series Zimbabwe score was comparatively better. This series is only between New Zealand and South Africa and Zimbabwe must take it as an opportunity to improve their cricket as they are playing against strong teams.
Zimbabwe at the starting first overs looked good with Bennett and madhevere's partnership but as Bennett got out there was no one to support madhevere and they were getting out really quickly . If Madhevere had spent a little more time with Sikandar raza the target could've been a little bit if not much better.
There are a few players that the team rely on and if they don't have a good day then the team is finished. All in all it was an easy target for the Kiwis to chase and they played good cricket. Congrats to Conway for the 50 and NZ for the W!
