Real is so cool that not winning the title once causes a storm of emotions and discussions  Grin
By the way, the last time I checked the odds, Real was the second main contender for the Champions League title in the upcoming season (after PSG). Therefore, it is assumed that Xabi will be able to cope, and in general, the reasoning about stars in relation to top clubs should be approximately the same. Name me one top club where there are not several stars whose opinions weigh a lot, simply because they give huge impact? There are no such clubs.
Winning titles is praised, failing is discussed because of the emotion of not winning.  Grin
Now the odds of Real Madrid to win the champions league 25/26 to 3rd place may be this change after Real Madrid was defeated by PSG --- and PSG is now the first place second Liverpool.
I myself can't judge now and believe Xabi can overcome for the coming season, it could be a tough competitor if they are no longer confused even though there are many star players in it.

Wow, they are already third? Although after the season where Real won the Champions League beating Chelsea, Liverpool and City in succession and was recognized as only the third club of the season (after City and Liverpool haha) I will not be surprised by anything and this is a good sign  Grin
As for my prediction, I don't really believe in predictions for tournaments that have a playoff section - too much randomness, but I am happy that the likelihood that this season will be a battle of top clubs and not a battle of the disabled is high. To begin with, I would like Real to win La Liga. They are the favorites there now, but they were favorites last season too.

I'm not surprised cause Real Madrid performance in the Champions league wasn't very encouraging, I'm even surprised to see that they're 3rd I wasn't expecting something below maybe they gave them that position because they signed a coach with experience or their previous records in the Champions league.
Carlo Ancelotti was the last guy that took them to champions League, that was before xabi Alonso came in some few months back and took them the club world cup. There's no doubt that Xabi Alonso is experience but the technicality that is required in Real Madrid this period needs him to think way deeper, first their performance in the club World Cup was a mirage, it was below expectations and the leakages are still there. With the way Barcelona is formidable this time around with Lamine yamal, trust me Madrid are going to get a serious fight for the title this time around.
