He played for Marseille two years ago. He got impressive stats like 30 goals, 11 assists in 51 games. Great for a 34-year-old player. Now he is 36 and stayed away from Europe for a year. Hopefully he can still make a good contribution again.

Sometimes I wonder how this kind of moves are even made, it looks like this players after just one season or even less than that they find their way back again to Europe again, this is one too many of this players I have seen that actually came back. Is it that life at those environments weren’t conducive for them or what, because we can’t say it is the wages since Saudi pays way more higher than Europe. This time around it was Aubameyang that actually cut his ties with the club and then came back here.

Nonetheless considering how he played the last time I think if he can pull up those numbers again it will be very good for the club as they will even have him along side last season’s highest goal scorer Mason Greenwood
