Leverkusen losing 5:1 in a friendly match with a youth team is a very bad record for the new manager he may try to cover it up by saying his team didn't take the game serious or he tried his teamB to know their performance but with this poor result he has given his critics more reasons to talk down on his ability to bring changes to the team next season but he can escape being dragged by doing better job when the season starts and winning games for the team is the best he can do to.
That is true. No matter what, they will still criticize him because, just look at his first game at the club, he already lost 5-1. So, what will happen when the season starts? That means it might even be hard for him to make it to the top 4 in the table.

Nevertheless, let’s give him more time and see if he will be able to do something tangible. But just as I said from the beginning, I don’t have much hope in him doing anything better, because to me, he is not capable of being a coach.

Still, time will tell, and we will give him as much time as he needs.
We can't really draw any conclusions from the first match, especially since it wasn't an official match. Ten Hag is still experimenting with tactics and formations to achieve his best performance. However, one thing that remains from this defeat is the damage to Ten Hag's confidence and the fans' trust. This will have a significant impact on what happens going forward.

I've had my doubts about Ten Hag from the start. Indeed, even if he's given plenty of time, he likely won't be able to maintain Leverkusen's performance like last season. I also believe that Ten Hag will be sacked soon after the season starts. Although I say it's very early, that's just my prediction.

Yes, even if we know that Ten Hag will not be able to deliver the performance of Bayer Leverkusen as we saw under Xabi Alonso, we still need to give him more time to see what he will be able to do. But at the same time, let’s not forget this is the same situation we saw when he was appointed at Manchester United. Although almost everyone has no hope in him, let’s still wait and see what time will tell. But I don’t think he has any technical skills or strategy that he will use to change Bayer Leverkusen’s performance from what Xabi has already done. All I pray for is that, even if he doesn’t improve their performance, he shouldn’t spoil it.
