I don't think many Nigerians still make use of ATM machines or stand because of the probability of not finding cash in them when you need it the most. Many Nigerians have moved to using POS outlets where you are more certain that you can get the cash you need for a specific charge. So for this advice I think we should be more careful and know that the people or the attendants at POS outlets are not our friends.
Personally I can't even remember the last time I made use of my ATM card; if not for using it to renew some online subscription physically, I can't remember using it in any POS machine or even joining a long line to make a withdrawal.

The cashless policies that our ex-president in collaboration with the ex-governor made us use have contributed to getting me used to making use of only transfers in terms of making withdrawals or payments for bills; it's much simpler for me and also safer.
