What about it? XRP is a centralized shitcoin run by a company. It is not even in the same asset class as Bitcoin. How could it be? It probably should not even be considered a cryptocurrency, but simply digital money issued by a corporation.

If you care only about the multiplier of your fiat, then there were much better alternatives that delivered better returns at lower risk. So your point is also defeated here. Anything else? Doing a 2-3x during an altcoin season is just terrible performance anyway.
