First of all, negotiating with Aurelio DeLaurentiis is always extremely tough; secondly, some Saudi Arabian team was interested in Osimhen as well so maybe the Turkish team was afraid that the player as well could get tired of the situation and choose another club. Napoli are paying the player a huge salary, that's true, but also next year there is the World Cup, starting an fight with DeLaurentiis (I mean more serious than the current situation) wouldn't be a smart move from Osimhen, he may actually spend the full year without playing.
