Yes, even if we know that Ten Hag will not be able to deliver the performance of Bayer Leverkusen as we saw under Xabi Alonso, we still need to give him more time to see what he will be able to do. But at the same time, let’s not forget this is the same situation we saw when he was appointed at Manchester United. Although almost everyone has no hope in him, let’s still wait and see what time will tell. But I don’t think he has any technical skills or strategy that he will use to change Bayer Leverkusen’s performance from what Xabi has already done. All I pray for is that, even if he doesn’t improve their performance, he shouldn’t spoil it.
Obviously Xabi and Ten Hag are two different persons so we can not be expecting exactly the same thing from them. Xabi did what he did because of his own kind of experience and Ten Hag has got his own kind of experience with which he is going to use as the head coach of Leverkusen so we cannot be expecting same result from the both of them. Ten Hag has come to meet s good foundation from which Xabi has set over the period of time he has been their coach, I want to believe he will be able to use it to his advantage.
