Today I was browsing websites of old, inactive cryptocurrencies and noticed that some of the domains are now taken over by online casinos. Honestly, wherever you look in the crypto world, you stumble upon gambling businesses. It really feels like this is the most profitable niche right now.~

I came to finance through forex brokers, and I still remember people telling me: “Forex is like a casino - except in a casino, at least you can win.”

To me, running a financial market always seemed more profitable than running a casino.
But in crypto, is it the other way around? Are casinos making more money than trading platforms?

These days, people don’t really want to go for an intensive learning to become successful in life, they prefer to just rugged their way through life and maybe luck finds them in the least way they can imagine after putting just a little effort of time and money. The trading market happens to be a consistent means of making money when you already have an edge over it while the gambling market works more with luck with a person with little knowledge or no knowledge about it making fortunes through it.

Many see trading and casino games as big gambles, so in order for them to chose between a gamble that will earn them money even without having the knowledge and that which will earn them money but need to have the knowledge, they settled for the casino games which requires no knowledge and just luck. This in my own understanding made lot of people to concentrate more on gambling and since that’s where people show more interest in, setting up a gambling business is notnow more profitable than the trading business.
