Real Madrid value Vini's contribution to the team, and they really want to keep him, but if he leaves, it won't be Real Madrid's doing. AFAIK, he has been handed a new contract, but he's asking for a higher salary. I don't know the details of the new contract, but I'm guessing it's more than what he was earning, and if they cannot reach an agreement, Real Madrid will have no other choice than to sell him. He has already been given a deadline to sign, or he will be put up for sale.

Well,  fwiw as long as Madrid will sell him for a substantial amount. Not like the free transfer they got Trent from Liverpool. But I don't think Vini will go at least not yet especially now that all the pieces of the next generation of Real Madrid squad rebuild is coming to together. In a few yearsImo, he cnwould just stay put for now, enjoy the Europe glory and when he's going older, just goto Saudi there and make all the money because Real Madrid won't match that high salary as they're not that loyal to player feelings. Even Ronaldo was let go when he asked for more than he was offered.
