Cristian Chivu has considerable experience, having previously played for Roma, Ajax, and Inter Milan, so that experience is sufficient to give him a better chance given Inter Milan's current strength.
Napoli is indeed the favorite due to their consistent strong performances over the past few seasons. I'll stick with Inter Milan this season, even though I have my doubts. That's understandable. After all, we know that not everything can be positive; he'll have to adapt as a new coach.
Chivu has experience as a football player, not as a football manager, and those are two very different things. The fact that he's been a great player doesn't automatically mean he's going to be a great manager. Let's take Clarence Seedorf for example: he was one of the most intelligent football players ever, he's nickname in Italy was "the Professor" because he would rarely make mistakes and yet his results as manager were quite bad. Chivu has almost no experience, he did an excellent job with Parma but managing Inter will be a different story.
Perhaps you should open your eyes to Vincent Kompany, Zidane, and Xabi Alonso, who are not too far from your viewing circle. They were also players, and even at the beginning of their careers, they didn't have any coaching achievements, but over time, they created what you call achievements.
Do you think Chivu hasn't learned how to coach a team? And do you think Inter Milan's management is stupid for hiring Chivu? So which one is right?

Kompany managed to win the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich, such an incredible achievement, right? Usually Bayern Munich never win the Bundesliga... Zidane was managing the best team in the world, of course he did great since no one ever won 3 CL but, again, he had the best team. Xabi Alonso before managing Leverkusen managed Real Sociedad B for 3 years.
Chivu was appointed as Parma manager on 18 February 2025 and became Inter manager less than 4 months later.
And now I have a question for you: where are Xavi, Seedorf, Pirlo, Neville, Rooney, Lampard, just to name a few. They were all great players and yet their carrier as managers never picked up despite all the reputation they had. Just because a few of them make it doesn't mean that every single ex football player will become a great manager, especially those who have 0 experience and manage a big team.
