Responsible risk is a phrases widely used in many sectors. For gambling responsible risks are the best you make with your self will without any influence. Making bets when intoxicated, or on high stress, rage betting are examples of how you could be gambling irresponsibly.
Some may argue that seeking for low chance bets is irresponsible but it's not as the low chance bets have higher multiplier. It may be a long shot but it'd not irresponsible as it's similar to betting on high chance outcome which gives less multiplier and you get a small portion of your bet. The risks on both case are same.

I agree, there is no task that would be done better if its performer was drunk. And if this task is analytics and reflection, which is essentially betting, then the chances of a good outcome become smaller. Yes, no one has canceled luck, and we all know stories about people who made the wrong bet that they wanted and still won, but this is absurd. This is an uncontrollable situation that will not be repeated periodically. Yes, in the long run, such a bettor will simply zero out his entire bankroll. You need to be conscious about all matters related to money.
I agree with you, no work can be done properly while drunk, no one can ever research or analyze anything properly while drunk, in short, when drunk, he is not in control of himself, then how can he research the right thing? Research, analysis, logic and self-control are essential in betting, without these, people can very quickly lose their entire bankroll uncontrollably. Winning is always unexpected, out of control and unlikely to happen again, but when people lose their self-control, they want to get this win continuously, which is impossible, and because of this kind of activity, they face terrible losses. If someone bets due to greed and emotion or while intoxicated, then he will not be able to manage his bankroll at that moment, and if he loses, he will continue to gamble continuously, and finally he will lose all his money, and finally when he has already faced huge losses, he will realize that he has lost something huge.
