Why would they take less compared to what they have to take for a service? I am not trying to argue for a less pay but all I'm trying to express is that some companies that are into this kind of services might decide to increase the fee more than what they ought to take especially when they know that the fund in that wallet is huge.
Since it is better to recover a lost fund with high fee than to leave it for the money to be forever lost, people would have no option than to look for every means and get their money even though it will cost them high fee.

The point you raised is a good one , and I really know where you are heading to. Majority will be happy to recover there money even if the cost is very high. Instead of losing everything completely, it will be best to get something. However we should be very careful to avoid being scam. Some of this recovery service might just want to cheat others especially if they find out that the wallets contain huge amount of money. So instead of losing everything it will be better to recover some part. The price charge should reflect the service offer to avoid exploitation.

It's true that the excitement of recovering your lost wallet that contains a fortune might compel someone to ignore all the red flag that a wallet recovery company might have, but I still think that reputation should really be looked into before giving out your details. Right now, if I am saying that I trust this keychainx 100% that means am lying, because they have not given me much reason to do so in that manner, but if a reputable members of this forum or group of people comes and speak sincerely of their experience when dealing with them, my perception about them might change entirely the better.
