Even playing in the Bundesliga, I believe he won't be able to score 15 goals in the Premier League, while Alexander Isak, who already plays in the Premier League, performed better. But unfortunately, Newcastle doesn't want to sell him. It makes sense, but the price Liverpool paid for Hugo Ekitike is too high, in my opinion.
Liverpool signed expensive players in this window, and so many people would be looking forward to seeing what they can do and how they can help the team in the coming season. I hope they really meet up to expectations though, because we all know how the English media tends to involve themselves in such a situation.
15 goals in the Bundesliga for a striker isn't that bad though, but I doubt if that is what Liverpool fans would be looking forward to. They couldn't get Isak because Newcastle was never interested in selling him, and I don't know why they even placed the £120M on his head in the first place. Isak would have being a perfect signing for the reds. But let's see what Ekitike has to offer in the coming season.
