Exactly, Anyone trying to gamble that afraid to lose is missing the point of gambling. Gambling entertainment is incorporated with risk. It’s like the thrill which gambler seeking because this makes winning more worth it due to the hardship and risk you experience when playing.

Same when hiking tall mountain, we are tiring ourselves climbing mountains just to see the top and our perseverance makes it more fun rather than just use vehicle to climb the top.

I think the risk is the equivalent of perseverance on other activities that dedicated for fun.
