Definitely I don't think anyone can really judge Amorim performance based on last season. It can be argued that the team has being messed up by Ten Hag and he only had the January transfer to fix things up, which I don't think it's okay for him to fix the team.
This season he really does not have any excuse not to improve on last season, because he would have had a total of 3 transfer markets, that's if he survive till January, which I would really want them to give him the chance to prove himself till the end of the season. I believe he will do better than last season, so let's wait for the season to start.
