So the whole idea of this individual in your story is that after being lucky on winning the huge amount he has not used the same very casino again? But if he has been using other casinos after all, then it doesn't make sense because he will be losing still in the process. More like robbing Peter to paying.

It was just a comment I read somewhere, so I can't really tell if he didn't gambler again after leaving that casino he won big amount from. But even if he gambled in a different casino and lost the money there, he won the first casino but was not smart enough not to stop gambling. He didn't realize that he will still lose to other casinos.

Honestly, the only way to win the casino is to hit the jackpot and quit gambling. If not, you will lose it back to gambling. This is why you must be contented with any amount of money that you win. When you're not satisfied with little wins, you'll still not be satisfied with big wins. Greed is very bad and can steal away our glory from us.

Yeah this is what I thought too. Quitting and never coming back at any time. But if you're a long time gambler, TBH, it's going to be kind of difficult to just walk away and never having to come back after a few time away. I have seen some gamblers that had the luck of winning an amount that can be related to a jackpot, and left but later returned after some months. I don't know why but I speculate they have been enmeshed into the system and just had difficulty leaving it for life.
