I also don't believe that it was real newbie who genuinely asked these questions. I just see such thing here way too often - some random newbie is asking questions about completely unknown shady website, whether it's investment platform, exchange, online store or something else.
Very likely that people who are behind these websites is making such topics to get backlinks and improve their place in search engines, as said above. Doubt that they're getting paid.

Regardless of whether they are paid or not - I have come to the conclusion that they seem to want to promote the website in this way. In my opinion - their approach is quite simple, but it can influence or encourage some people unknowingly to find the mentioned website. I don't know exactly whether backlinks are actually prohibited in this forum's rules - but in my opinion, any website including any platform that has the potential to harm users is prohibited.
