If you want to store your account information: email password, email 2FA, phone number for registration and similar ones for your accounts, use password manager softwares for this task.

Its really dangerous practice to be made by everyone since there's a high chance that they might put their accounts at risk for taking that option.

I'd prefer to type manually my password and don't save anything in my computer to make sure that I'm safe for any possible online and offline attacks. Those lazy people doing this usually get compromise and its hard to learn a lesson in hard way so before this situation didn't happen to them yet. They better choose those more safer action. Although it maybe time consuming at least they know that their account is safe from any possible harm.
