United needs a good goalkeeper in the sticks and I think they are weighing that option but it's just that it's not a priority. At the moment, they want to get a striker before looking at other areas worth strengthening like midfield and goalkeeper. I also think the amount they realized from the sales of outgoings will determine if they will sign a new goalkeeper or not.

One of the major problems Manchester United is facing is not having a better goalkeeper, and the performance of Onana as Manchester United's goalkeeper is nothing new; he has not been performing at his best. I think the team would be better off if they got a new goalkeeper. Onana has made so many mistakes that have caused Manchester United to fall behind.

If there were a good goalkeeper, I don't think Manchester United would be in the position they normally end up in at every competition. However, I believe Manchester United will still want to retain Onana, believing he might improve and become consistent in his performance.
