Essentially argument about which cryptocurrency was superior in past is pointless because Bitcoin performance has proven everything. And just like you I also always prefer Bitcoin as compare to others.

Yes who is able to survive to this point and never fade, even continue to mint new ATHs is the king of all altcoins today.
some of those debates are just part of the past that have now been proven clearly that BTC was able to outperform them all, passing some Bitcoin Forks that even claimed to be better than Bitcoin, but those claims didn't really happen and they all lagged behind and didn't develop anymore.

and for Ordinal now switch to lighter use-cases such as Sats Names (ordinal-based domains), Bitmaps, Rune (a potential replacement for Casey Rodarmor's BRC-20).

The Rune Protocol is also expected to replace BRC-20 in a more network-friendly way.
