I don't think there is anything spiritual about addiction because it's a matter of choice and people are always excited because they always have the mindset that they will be able to win we know that every wants to win but you have to control your self so that you don't feel like the problem that can be controlled casually will be considered a spiritual problem because this something self control will solve and this is why, everything will ignored are very important especially control when we are gambling when you don't control your self then your case will become different. And there other ways that gambling can be played safely and all this things is driving by greed.

Just as you have made mentioned the word greed it really good that we are emphasizing more on role of presonal responsibility and self control in managing gambling habits i think and know that gambling is an results of individual mindset and choice, i don't really know why any lifestyle a self is living bad is bad will be changed or tagged as that preson has spiritual problem, most times greed can lead people to engage in having bad and risky behaviours tagging it as specific spiritual problem, such as chasing looses or betting more than they can afford, having the acknowledgment of the importance self control and responsibility behaviour, gamblers should take note on how to manage and fix thier gambling addiction and avoid potential losses or problems.
