West Indies bat first with Brandon and Hope who score 32 runs partnership, Brandon leaving the partner. Then Roston was the one down player who hitted boundaries like rain. Top order players played well then the middle order's turn but middle order failed to contribute great runs except two players who leaded the score to 166 runs. Players got knocked out at short intervals and after loss of 8 wickets West Indies ended at 189 runs. Australia had a bad start as their openers lost wicket at just 12 runs and the middle order had the responsibility to complete this task. Middle order players performed very well especially Cameron who scored 51 runs by hitting 5 sixes. Final order players chased the target one over before and won this game by 3 wickets.

West indies set a record total runs for 189 and lost the match. Australia chased a record total runs for 190 and won the match. The 1st match between West Indies and Australia was played at Sabina Park, Kingston ground . Australia won the toss and elected to bowling first. Cameron Green is a very talented and great player of Australia team member. West Indies scored well in the first T20I against Australia but it was not enough to win. Australia team is definitely a good team to win against them. In this situation there is no certainty if they score 200+ but if West Indies win the toss and opted to field first then there is a possibility of chasing and winning.
