You have a valid point here though. As a striker, you are expected to score a minimum of 30 goals and have 10+ assist in one season. Anything less than that is not good for the team if they plan on winning the trophies. Also, Chelsea is a big club, if a player is not doing well, they have to call the shot. Just like you said Jackson has been in Chelsea for 2 seasons. And his performance across all competition is very poor. Now Chelsea has signed Delap and Jao Pedro I dont see any need for him.

Jackson was among the average players that was bought by the former coach of Chelsea and since that time, I haven't seen any significant impact that he has made in order for the club to achieve success. This is the main reason why I am against the swap of Gnarcho to Jackson because it's like moving from fry pan to fire. He has been given several opportunities to make a difference but he couldn't.

The coach knows better what he needs in the team and what happened in the previous team cannot be used as a reference because for a performance there are many reasons and I think this exchange will be beneficial for both teams and also for the players who can develop further regardless of the performance of both players last season but being in a new team has many possibilities and we also cannot judge the whole except by looking at individual qualities.

As a Manchester United fan I don't need Jackson in my team Chelsea can project him to other clubs like they normally do when they want to offload their player but not Manchester United this time around. We're still trying to recover from Mason Mount and someone is talking about Jackson when what Manchester United seriously need is a striker that can score at least 20 goals. I looked at the figure that Chelsea placed on him and laughed cause it's so funny £80m for a flop Manchester united's board would be so foolish if they fall for that trap.
